saturday night!

and i am staying at home:)
it feels good u know
to be able to sit in the house having nothing particular to do:)
purposely turned down outings
so i can have time for myself
with the hospital thing occupying most of my time
this is really a great retreat from busy busy working life
it's not stressful
unless you count waking up at 8am and rushing to work in less than half an hour's time
well
it isnt work really
coz i am not paid a cent for it
and not exactly volunteer work coz i am asked to go
and erm not everyone has the chance even though they volunteer
plus i am not exactly thrilled and willing to wake up so early
but yet
i stayed back to help out and i work the normal shifts all the staff there do
the exception is
i can cut work la
just by a call
nothing to risk
but so far
i have managed not to do so
and the doctor is kind enough to treat me free lunch for a week:)
coz i'll be staying at the ot next week
the sad part is
i'll have to skip 2 days due to an interview
actually
the real reason is becoz
there'll be a movie showing on 8tv in less than an hour's time:p

i have been at the pharmacy for 5 days this week
a day at the OT
well
i always discard pharmacy from my list of possible courses
coz i think it's boring
well
having talked to a few overseas grad from pharm
uk to be exact i now have a total diff perpective of it
TOTALLY
i am not going to take it
i still like med
the thing is
it's not THAT bad
it's just that our gov is not really exploiting pharm students
their rold is very limited in malaysia
even in retailing they only deal with primary infection
in uk
it's totally diff case
they can suggest medications that the doc might left out
etc
and the posting at pharmacy wasnt as bad as i thought
the first day was boring but after that
it was nice
well, as nice as it was at the lab
lots of interesting ppl there too
i learnt a lot from the pharmacist and dispensers there
and really
the laboratory technologists have shown me how to process the blood specimens
and i gained more knowledge
i learnt no less at pharmacy:)
and oh
dispensing is fun
if u do it for a week:)
coz they have this triangle that makes ur life so much easier
whoever designed it
you're a genius:)
am going to kl next tues and coming back on wed
yeah
i hate rushing here and there
what to do
cant stay long
OT is more important
there's a lot of surgeries waiting for me
TO WITNESS
haha

am thinking of going to the morgue later
hehe
hope i dont faint:)
