it's raining cats and dogs outside

woke up at 11 am yesterday
that is early for me
only to be greeted by a quite heavy rain
i was waken up by my alarm
coz we were planning to go to the penang international dragon boat carnval/competition
but we went anyway
it was at teluk bahang dam and yes it is VERY far from where i live

fortunately
i wasnt the one driving
hehe
we were all deceived by the weather
it was scorching hot there
and becoz we wanted to observe the races closely
we sat at a spot where there was no shade
for about an hour
-_-''
and i didnt dring my cap
coz
a) i dont know where i left it and time was running out
b) i dont think i'll need it anyway

the water level is decreasing rapidly
the last time i went i.e 2 years ago
there was this two rocks that werent visible
and now
the two protrude prominently
so i think
we might be facing water crisis soon:(

the hong kong team that were there damn semanagat
they were dancing under hot sun
and cheered like siao

all my friends that used to compete in the race are all now retired so
we went there coz we had too much time in hand
and sy offered to drive us there

after that
we went to get a market to have tea
and i got more than i asked
i was lectured by the three of them namely
seng yen kean ni and wei loong
for not knowing the wide variety of beverages available there

they insisted on dropping by my house
and we spent like 2 hours plus
chatting about nothing in particular

they went home while
i went out again
to have dinner with my family
havent do that in ages
later
went to gurney to shop

my mom bought me 5 pants in a week
but i did bought a pair of sandals i like from nose
saw a pair of purple heels that's 50 off and also nice
but after walking for 30 seconds my feet felt worse than they do after i run 1km
i still have a pair of slippers yet to be worn
i bought it in february
i keep buying things that i already have
i am a shopaholic
how am i going to survive uni????!!

oh the rain stopped
should stop writing now too:)
